About JWA Race Teams

With a rich pedigree of racing in its DNA, from historic sports cars and thoroughbred Grand Prix cars to the likes of the contemporary Le Mans Series, JWA simply thrives on competition.

JWA’s on-track foundations started in the Thoroughbred Grand Prix series – the race team going on to win the championship in back-to-back seasons in 2003 and 2004.

Off the back of this success, the race team graduated to modern-day racing, first competing in the Le Mans Series in 2005.  With every step taken JWA Racing has continued to build its engineering platform to ensure a competitive package each time it hits the race track.

JWA Racing is now currently competing in the 2011 Formula Renault BARC Championship – regarded as one of the most cost-effective, manufacturer-supported junior single-seater series in the country.

Perfectly filling the gap between karting and the Formula Renault UK Championship, JWA’s participation in the Formula Renault BARC Championship allows it to continue to offer engineering excellence while developing driver talent in a fiercely competitive series.

Taking in the United Kingdom’s best race tracks, including Donington Park, Brands Hatch and Silverstone, the series offers an unrivalled value-for-money platform for aspiring Formula One drivers.

With plans to expand to a two-car team in 2012, this year’s entry has only served to fuel the racing team’s love of single-seater competition even further.
